At Birmingham City University (BCU) technology plays a key role in the enhancement of the student learning experience. By providing learning activities and opportunities that transcend the traditional face-to-face taught provision technology supported learning allows for a sustained learning experience through engaging independent study. Therefore, blended learning is the preferred approach for learning and teaching delivered within BCU.
EDS provides support, advice, guidance and training to academic staff on how to make the most of the technology available.
