Oliver's story

Computer Games Technology

School of Computing and Digital Technology

Studying Computing Games Technology enabled Oliver Vlatychev to build on his presentation skills and to work with teams. Not only that, he was president of Birmingham City University's Hackathon Computing Society – participating in 24-hour competitions whilst boosting his knowledge of computer programming.

Aside from investing in his career, Oliver made a lot of friends whilst at University. He enjoyed sharing an apartment with some other international students, feeling at home in Digbeth, which is a very lively part of the city, famous for its night and arts scene.

Living in Digbeth proved very handy for Oliver, as it is a short walk from Millennium Point, where the School of Computing and Digital Technology is situated.
