Whisk earrings and a chopping board necklace are amongst items created by a Birmingham City University student as part of her final year jewellery project.
Yonghui Duan studies Jewellery Design and Related Products at the University’s School of Jewellery and launched her ‘Jewellery in Kitchen’ collection as part of the institution’s Inspired Festival, an annual celebration of the talent and creativity of final year students about to embark on their careers.
Yonghui has used metal and wood to create a collection of wearable and functional kitchen utensils as jewellery.
Fans of Yonghui’s designs will need to fork out £129 for a pair of whisk earrings, whilst the chopping board necklace costs £99.
Other items in the collection include walnut and silver plated spice jars and a measuring tool necklace.
