Starting tips for international students


So you’ve received and accepted your offer from us, sorted our your CAS, UK visa and accommodation and you’re ready to start studying – great! Here’s some tips for what to do when you arrive in Birmingham…

Take advantage of our Meet and Greet service

Birmingham Airport

Did you know we can meet you at Birmingham Airport to welcome you to the city, answer any questions that you may have and help you get to your accommodation? This year, between Thursday 7 September – Sunday 10 September we’ll be meeting you between 9am – 10pm.

Complete your enrolment

Students on campus

You will have already completed the online part of your enrolment and will have booked an appointment to complete this online. Remember to attend this appointment to become a BCU student so you can receive your Student ID card to access the rest of our campuses.
