Directions by rail

Perry Barr Train Station is around 800m southwest of the site. You can get there on foot or by bicycle following Wellhead Lane south to Alston Lane, then using the signal-controlled crossings at the Birchfield Road roundabout, which provides a direct route north to Perry Barr Train Station.

Car parking is available on-site and there are four accessible spaces. Car parking up to 3 hours is free of charge.

Directions by bike

National Cycle Route NCN 535 runs to the east of the sports centre. It’s a small cycle route from National Cycle Route 5 in Birmingham City Centre to Gravelly Hill and then a short stretch along the Tame Valley Canal.

The route then stays mainly off road, running around lakes and pathways along a green belt through the North of Birmingham to Sutton Park, the route then runs into the park. A cycle through the park and National Cycle Route 534 can be picked up, which runs back through Sutton Coldfield then follows Plants Brook and heads back to the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal at Castle Vale.

There are a number of cycle paths and local cycle routes also within a short distance. On site, there are 12 cycle parking spaces, showers and changing rooms with lockers for storing equipment.
