RBC alumnus Anton Clarke-Butler has been appointed as one of two new Deputy Programme Directors for The Nucleo Project.
The Nucleo Project is a music for social action programme in London that uses the pursuit of musical excellence as a way to enrich the lives of children and young people, who, in turn, enrich the life of the community.
Anton is a clarinettist and graduate of the MMus course.
He is an experienced teacher and currently holds the position of Clarinet Tutor at In Harmony – Telford and Stoke. Anton has been a member of The Nucleo Project teaching team since 2018 and will now take a leading role in the ongoing development of the project.
Anton said: “It is an absolute pleasure and honour to begin this new and exciting role with The Nucleo Project. I have been incredibly moved by the impact that the project has on the community and the feeling of togetherness and family. I cannot wait to continue to support the growth of The Nucleo Project and the amazing talented, young people we are in contact with.”
