Alumna reprises royal role
Alexia McIntosh, who graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2015, is reprising her role as Anna of Cleves in the hit musical SIX’s UK and international tour.
Honorary graduate stars in new show
Beverley Knight, who received an honorary doctorate from BCU in 2023, will star as Rosetta Tharpe in ‘Marie & Rosetta’, which comes to her home theatre, the Wolverhampton Grand, next month.
Alumna takes on new role
Stage Management alumna Jess Kendall has taken on a new role as Assistant Stage Manager at the Lichfield Garrick, working on Elly Brewer and Sandi Toksvig’s ‘The Pocket Dream’, which runs until Saturday 3 May.
Alumna wins award for Festival
BMus alumna, soprano and Festival Director Abigail Kelly was honoured with a Royal Philharmonic Society (RPS) Impact Award for Streetwise Opera’s Re:Discover Festival.
