Experts share views on Construction in a Post-Brexit landscape

Experts joined forces at the Centre for Brexit Studies Brexit Breakfast event last week to share their knowledge, thoughts and views on the Construction sector in a post-Brexit landscape.

The event, which took place at Birmingham City University, was hosted by Beverley Nielsen, Senior Fellow at the Centre for Brexit Studies and Associate Professor at The Institute for Design and
Economic Acceleration (IDEA) and brought together four experts on the Construction sector and what lays in store for the industry in a post-Brexit landscape.

The four panel members included Professor David Bailey, Economist at the Birmingham Business School at University of Birmingham and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Regional Studies and Mike Leonard, CEO at Building Alliance.

Other speakers included Dr Steven McCabe, Associate Professor at The Institute for Design and Economic Acceleration (IDEA) and Sunil Johal, Project Director at Argent Property Development Services LLP.

The panel members discussed the Construction Industry in a post-Brexit landscape and its issues for operations, supply chains and HR, Brexit’s current and future impact on it and what lays in store after Thursday 31 October .
