Poppy Surplice

Poppy Surplice is currently undertaking an events internship with the Centre for Brexit Studies. She is also an Events Management student at Birmingham City University, graduating in 2021.

Her role at the Centre consists of supporting the Communications team with a variety of jobs, including social media promotion of events, copywriting for event marketing materials and preparing handouts, newsletters and presentations prior to all events.

She also plays a key role in the Centre’s events with working both customer facing and behind the scenes with registering attendees, answering queries, organising timings, working with speakers and contributors, as well as helping to film and live stream discussions.

Poppy is currently working on promotion of our YouTube Live events, promotional content and marketing for the Centre for Brexit Studies.
