Dr. Sima Iranmanesh is working as a Lecturer in Data Science, having joined the School of Computing and Digital Technology at Birmingham City University in April 2024. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Warwick, UK. During her Ph.D., she studied the efficiency and effectiveness of similarity search algorithms for large-scale graph data. Prior to that, she completed her Master's studies in software engineering with a research focus on Recommender Systems and their vulnerabilities to attacks.
Her research interests include the analysis of graph data and knowledge graphs. She is currently an active researcher in the Natural Language Processing Lab, with a primary focus on employing graph data analysis within the construction and building sectors.
