Darren Hogg
Darren Hogg was born and educated in Birmingham. He trained at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire studying organ, harpsichord and piano accompaniment with David Ponsford and David Saint.
Darren is currently school organist and tutor of organ / piano at King Edward’s School, Birmingham, and is also organ tutor at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Junior department. He has over thirty years experience as an instrumental teacher and accompanist.
Darren is organist / director of music at St. Paul’s Church in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and is accompanist / assistant director of music for the Birmingham Choral Union and the Quinborne Choir. He regularly assists and deputises at Birmingham and Lichfield Cathedrals, Solihull School and Birmingham Oratory.
Darren works as a freelance musician, giving organ recitals and accompanying choirs, singers and instrumentalists for concerts and examinations.
