Matthew O'Malley

Matthew developed an interest in studio production after spending many years as guitarist and vocalist in a progressive rock band. Matthew studied pop music production techniques through various diploma courses, and also took part in training at the BBC in post-production for TV after which he secured the post of Recording Studio Manager at the Birmingham Conservatoire in 2001.

Whilst working full-time at the Conservatoire, Matthew completed a BSc (Hons) Music Technology degree in 2008 and is currently studying MMus Music Technology to form part of his professional development.

Matthew continues to write songs, study acoustic and electric guitar and is an active member of the Central England Classical Guitar Ensemble.
