Brennan Reece
Graduated in 2008
Brennan Reece has put his experience of performing to good use, now combining his acting work with a promising career as an award-winning stand-up comedian.
The best thing about studying at Birmingham School of Acting was the atmosphere and environment you got to work in every day. It was a friendly place with great teachers and a hub of students who push you to become the best you can.
Within months of leaving BSA I had got my first main role in a feature film (SoulBoy) which led on to so many opportunities. Highlights have included working with recipients of BAFTAs, Oscars, Tony Awards and Olivier Awards.
The range of skills learned at BSA has opened so many doors. I have toured the country with The Who, created a play in 24 hours at The Old Vic and had the opportunity to work in this industry at its highest level.
I have also become a stand-up comic working all over the UK, winning the Manchester New Comedian of the Year award in 2010 and reaching the finals stages of other prestigious comedy competitions.
