We are very excited to welcome back to Eastside Jazz Club an essentially RBC alumni band, led by guitarist and composer Aidan Pope.
This second iteration of Aidan’s Octet includes significant improvisers on both the London and Birmingham scenes as well as Bristolian and RBC tutor Rebecca Nash.
Expect some great ensemble writing with imaginative orchestrations and some novel improvising spaces. Aidan’s music has an esoteric edge which looks to challenge and inspire his fellow musicians and bring subtly new vistas to the audience.
