CBSO SO Vocal Summer Concert with Symphonic Six

Made up of 200 Birmingham-based singers, SO Vocal is CBSO’s unauditioned community choir open to anyone who lives locally and loves to sing. They rehearse weekly in Kings Heath and perform up to three times a year in venues such as Symphony Hall and Town Hall. SO Vocal will be performing a varied programme of music including many familiar classics! SO Vocal are conducted by Lucy Hollins.

For this concert, SO Vocal will also be joined by Symphonic Six. Symphonic Six is a six piece ensemble consisting of clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, piano, double bass and drums. All band members have played at the highest level as members of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and have everything in place to delight audiences in schools, jazz clubs, concert halls, community venues and more.
