We would like to perform works from our latest Project Paloma CD (VOLUME 5 due out in late 2025), Second World War masterpieces for flute & piano.
This edition includes British and American works including:
Bohuslav Martinů Sonata (1944) – written in America!

Emily Beynon is principal flute of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Amsterdam. Born in Wales, she began her flute studies as a junior at the Royal College of Music with Margaret Ogonovsky and then went on to study with William Bennett at the Royal Academy and with Alain Marion in Paris.
Equally at home in front of the orchestra as in its midst, Emily performs regularly as concerto soloist and also as chamber musician. She is frequently heard on radio, and has recorded twelve concerto/recital discs to date. A passionate and dedicated teacher, Emily is regularly invited to give masterclasses all over the world.
Andrew West is a specialist in chamber music and song accompaniment and has played with violinist Sarah Chang, cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras, tenor Mark Padmore and baritone Roderick Williams. Together with Emily Beynon he has given concerts in the Concertgebouw, Wigmore Hall and during the Edinburgh International Festival. He has also given solo concerts in the United States, South America and South Africa.
Andrew West teaches song accompaniment and ensemble playing at the Royal Academy of Music and is a coach at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He is also a member of the artistic direction of the Internationales Kammermusik Festival Nürnberg.
