Award-winning singer, composer and flautist, Nai Barghouti is one of the most distinguished vocalists of a new generation of Palestinian and Arab artists.
With a layered ornamental technique, in which she uses her voice as a musical instrument, Nai brings a genre-defying link between Jazz and Arabic music.
Along with her Amsterdam-based quartet, she’s renowned for her stunning rearrangements of iconic pieces from Umm Kulthum to Fairuz, as well as original work well rooted in Arabic maqams, Jazz and classical western music.
From her first stage appearances at the age of 14, Nai has gone to fill concert halls across the world. From Egypt to France, to the UN headquarters in New York, and selling out two London shows last year as part of the EFG Jazz Festival 2023.
Nai returns to the UK for a nationwide tour performing at The Bradshaw Hall for the first time.
