RBC India Ensemble with Dr Radhika Balakrishnan

RBC India Ensemble Presents
UTHSAV United in Sound

UTHSAV - the concert, marks the remarkable journey of the RBC India Ensemble that celebrates the coming together of Indian and Western music. Come listen to some of India’s most popular songs reimagined, reignited, and romanced, the Birmingham way.

The RBC India Ensemble was created by former ICCR Chair of Indian Studies Dr Radhika Balakrishnan (Senior Professor Shankar Mahadevan Academy). This student-led ensemble is a reflection of the rich diversity of Birmingham, and its love for all things Indian. Its journey started with a star studded performance, joined by Dr Shankar Mahadevan, Dr Zakir Hussein and Dr John McLaughlin, fuelling hopes of collaborative music across barriers.
