What is a TOTUM card?

As a student, you have access to a wide variety of benefits and discounts which come in really handy when you’re dining out with friends or shopping for new clothes. There are quite a few websites and companies offering student discounts these days, so it is helpful to know which ones to look out for. TOTUM is the new name for NUS extra, and is the number one student discount card in the UK. 

TOTUM is available to higher education and further education students. In total, there are roughly 350 offers and discounts across the platform. Whether you regularly find yourself updating your wardrobe on Asos, or simply have to have protein for your gym sessions, TOTUM have collaborated with loads of leading brands to provide you with some super savings.

What else is included?

TOTUM regularly do free giveaways to students who are signed up. These are a great way of throwing your hat into the mix with the potential of winning some great prizes. The website also provides useful news stories to keep you in the loop as a university student, which sometimes includes little hints and tips on getting the most out of your money by people like Martin Lewis, the Money Saving Expert.

How to join

It’s really simple to join TOTUM and gain access to hundreds of discounts. Simply head over to the website and provide your personal email address, as well as a photo you want included on your card.  You can opt for a one-year subscription for £14.99 or a three-year subscription for £24.99. However, there is a digital TOTUM version, which is completely free. To be eligible to sign up for a TOTUM card, you need to be over 16 and studying full or part-time in the UK.
