Accreditations and recognition

Our undergraduate and postgraduate social sciences courses have achieved international and national recognition from professional bodies.

Studying for an accredited course maximises your future employability options. They are often a requirement for further study and for qualification into some professions.

Psychology

Psychology programmes must be professionally accredited, and our undergraduate postgraduate courses in Psychology have British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation. This means we are listed as an approved provider of the course.

Policing

Our BSc (Hons) Professional Policing degree is a national pre-join degree course licensed by the Policing Professional Body, the College of Policing.

Youth Work

Our BA (Hons) Youth Work and Communities course is accredited by the Joint Negotiating Committee, which is the Professional body that accredits Youth Workers in England and Wales.
