Dr Basiru Gai

Basiru is a medical doctor with extensive experience in improving health outcomes in low and middle-income countries. With a solid foundation in clinical practice, he has transitioned into the area of Public Health and holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from Birmingham City University, which later paved his academic journey toward a PhD in Psychology, for which he is currently working on defending his thesis. Basiru has a deep understanding of the psychological underpinnings of health disparities and the systemic challenges that perpetuate them. His main area of research interest is in health inequalities.
