Graduate Re-Tune
The Graduate Re-Tune project is a partnership between BCU, Aston University and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to help graduates re-engage with the graduate jobs market.
Funded by the Office for Students (OfS), this unique and innovative employment and skills initiative will help alumni based in the Birmingham and Solihull areas with tailored one-to-one support from a dedicated Graduate Re-Tune Consultant.
Graduate Re-Tune investigates the causes of local graduate unemployment and underemployment, and uses this intelligence to pilot new progression and support opportunities that tackle skills gaps and personal barriers. It is the only project of its kind that sees universities working in partnership with DWP.
If you are a graduate receiving Universal Credit, the Graduate Re-Tune project could help you secure a job where you can make the most of the skills gained during your studies.
To take part in the programme, you must be registered with a Jobcentre based in Greater Birmingham or Solihull. Contact retune@bcu.ac.uk for more information.
