Haoen Li (pictured) is a Chinese pianist currently studing in his second year on the undergraduate course at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. He began his journey with the piano at the age of eight, and it has been a defining passion ever since.

He played euphonium in orchestra during his junior school, going on to spend three years studing in the Xinghai Conservatory of Music Affiliated Middle School in China. His formative teacher in China was Jing Ouyang, he currently studies with Daniel Browell.
