Is the centre suitable for access by disabled users?
Yes – access to facility via sliding doors and each floor can be accessed via lift and guide dogs are welcome within the leisure facility.
Is there car parking available?
Yes, a large car park is available. Car parking up to 3 hours is free of charge for all customers of the centre.
Do I have to be a member to use the leisure facilities?
No, you do not need to be a member to use The Doug Ellis Sports Centre. Activities are available on a ‘pay as you go’ basis as well as value for money membership packages. To book for activities such as workout classes you simply need to become a Booking Member. This can be achieved by contacting reception via the telephone or during your visit to the leisure facility or simply on-line in the 'Registration' page.
Is the leisure centre just for University students?
No, The Doug Ellis Sports Centre is open to all. We have a wide range of activities and memberships available to suit all! , our facilities are open to staff, students and general public.
Are there lockers available?
Yes, lockers are provided please bring your own padlock. You can purchase padlocks at reception.
Can I buy clothing and equipment at the leisure centre?
No, the front desk provides a range of products for hire.
