Louise originally trained at the Legat School of Russian Ballet and Ballet Rambert, appearing in her first show at the age of 14. She was a professional actress and director and has appeared in numerous West End shows, repertory theatres, films, television, corporate videos, voice-overs and radio.

Her theatre credits include: Tomfoolery at the Criterion Theatre, Godspell at the Shaftesbury and Duke of York’s Theatres, Joking Apart at the Gielgud Theatre, Threepenny Opera at the Birmingham Rep, The Owl and the Pussycat at the Chichester Festival Theatre, Equus and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown at Harrogate Rep and The Loneliness of a Long-Distance Runner at the Nottingham Playhouse.

Film credits include Oliver and Pirates of Penzance, and television includes Dalziel and Pascoe, Dangerfield, Cruel Train, Bad Company, Doctors and Coronation Street

Louise has been teaching acting and physical skills at the Birmingham School of Acting for many years and teaches on all the acting courses. She has also directed numerous workshops and projects for the school and is currently directing the showcase for the Foundation in Acting course at the mac in March 2015. She has recently been made a Teaching Fellow by the HEA.
