Open Days and Consultation Lessons
Both the Conservatoire and the University hold regular Open Days. Conservatoire Open Days are held twice a year, in January and June. Conservatoire Open Days are designed to give you a real insight into student life and involve introductory talks, guided tours, open rehearsals, performances and chances to meet staff and students.
If you'd like to have a look at accommodation during your visit, a rolling coach will be available on the day.
This will leave from the Conservatoire every hour on the hour from 11am until 3pm.
What if I can't attend an Open Day?
If you can't attend one of our scheduled Open Days, you are welcome to visit us at any time of the year. Although you may not be able to see everything you would on an Open Day, we will try to make your visit as full as possible and to introduce you to key members of staff in your specialist area.

Paradise Birmingham Roadworks
Birmingham Conservatoire is located in Paradise Circus and the redevelopment of this area of Birmingham city centre started in January 2015.
This means there will be some disruption around the area.
If you are travelling by car, use alternative routes if you can. If you still need to drive into the Paradise area, you should allow extra time for your journey because you may face delays and follow the diversions.Paradise Birmingham Information leaflet
