Open Days and Consultation Lessons

Open Days

Our Music Department Open Days are held twice a year, in January and June. These are designed to give you a real insight into student life and involve introductory talks, guided tours, open rehearsals, performances and chances to meet staff and students.

Please note this webpage displays information about our Music Department Open Days only. If you are interested in studying Acting, Applied Performance or Stage Management at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, please visit this webpage for open day information.

Accommodation visits

If you'd like to have a look at accommodation during your visit, there will be tours running at regular intervals during the day to view an example of the student accommodation the University has to offer.

What if I can't attend an Open Day?

If you can't attend one of our scheduled Open Days, you are welcome to visit us at any time of the year. Although you may not be able to see everything you would on an Open Day, we will try to make your visit as full as possible and to introduce you to key members of staff in your specialist area.
