How to apply in Clearing

So you've found a course that's available in Clearing and you meet the entry requirements. What next? You need to get your name on a place! Here's how...

There's two ways to apply for a course in Clearing

Please note: we are currently unable to make any offers until Thursday 17 August.

1. By phone

0121 331 6777

Our Clearing hotline is open. Call us now.

2. By social media

Message us

Just send us a direct message on Facebook or Twitter. Here's what you need to send.

We're here for 44 hours non-stop

We'll be here around the clock to talk about your options, answer your questions and offer you a place on social media - from 12am on Thursday 17 August through til 8pm on Friday 18 August. We'll even be back over the weekend too from 10am til 4pm.

We know life doesn't run on office hours, so whether you can't sleep or you've been at work, we're here when you need us to help put your mind at rest. Other reasons why you might be up all night on A Level results day.

How we can help on social media

1. Get an offer

Whether calling is just not your thing, you're feeling emotional or you just can't get to the phone right now, a quick DM on social media might be a better option for you. Just send us a few details (see below) and we could make you an offer without even having to speak to anyone*.

2. Just ask us a question

We're here to answer anything, no matter how silly you think it is. Just don't ask us to name all the members of 1D - we weren't very good at that. "I'm working on the Clearing hotline - ask me anything."

How to apply on Facebook and Twitter

Just follow these easy steps.

  1. Choose your favourite social network and send us a direct message. You can find us on Facebook or Twitter.
  2. You'll need to send us the following information:
    • Your name, telephone number and email address
      or
Your UCAS Personal ID (if you have one)
    • Your UCAS points
    • Your subjects and grades
    • The exact name of the course you're interested in.

Further guidance on tariff points can be found on the UCAS website.

*Disclaimer: For certain courses we may need you to talk further to one of our tutors. Some of our courses also require an interview. More details can be found on our individual courses.
