Tenor horn, euphonium, baritone and tuba taster day

If you love playing in your youth brass band, why not come and join us for this fun-filled day? All up-and-coming tenor horn, euphonium, baritone and tuba players aged twelve and over are welcome. The RBC brass department invites you to visit our amazing building and get a sense of what it’s like to study these instruments at the Conservatoire.

You will have the chance to work with our incredible tutors Helen Varley (tenor horn), Chris Robertson (euphonium) and Les Neish (tuba). Plenty of current RBC students will also be getting involved.

Activities will begin at 10am, and the day will feature warm-ups, ensemble playing, masterclasses and instrument-specific sessions.

We will round things off with an informal sharing for parents in Bradshaw Hall at 3pm.

Entry is FREE, and all standards are welcome.

Book online now to reserve your place. Please note that all participants are required to fill out this form here before attending.

Running time approx. six hours
