Originally from Manchester but now based in Birmingham, Peter’s works span multiple disciplines and approaches from concert music through to electronics, improvisation and theatre.

He studied at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with Howard Skempton, Andrew Hamilton, Seán Clancy and Andrew Toovey, and won the RBC Composition prize upon graduating.

Peter has collaborated with: Le Page Ensemble, Thallein Ensemble, Graeme Rose (Stan’s Café), Carnelian Quartet, CoMA Summer School, Fumiko Miyachi, Flatpack Film Festival. Also, frequently writes music for RBC Theatre Company productions. He is also one half of Just Ham, an electronic music duo which explores the ideas and boundaries between structure, narrative, improvisation and performing online.
