Intelligent Behaviour Analytics® (IBA) Health, Well-being and Performing with Confidence programme

At Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, we believe that every student should perform with confidence. Everyone responds differently to pressure and sometimes the build-up to an important performance can be overwhelming, which is why we have created the Intelligent Behaviour Analytics® Health, Well-being and Performing with Confidence programme, for all Music students who study with us.

What is the IBA® programme?

The Intelligent Behaviour Analytics® Health, Well-being and Performing with Confidence programme is an eight-week course to help our Music students identify aspects of performance that are challenging to them and offer techniques to help them to overcome those challenges.

The programme is not assessed, and perfectly complements both course tuition and independent study and practice.

Hear from our students

“As someone who tends to roll their eyes or get irritated by hyperbolic reviews and statements, I can say with sincerity that learning the IBA framework has been life changing. The level of self-understanding and of others, help not only in my professional life but also in my private one and increasingly so as I continue to learn and understand the various aspects of the framework. I would highly recommend the IBA programme to anyone.”
