The city hosts various film festivals, including the Cine-Excess International Film Festival, which is ran by BCU Film lecturers and students often get involved with it, providing real-world experience and networking opportunities.

Our City Centre campus is the home of our Film, Animation and Photography degrees, and boasts state-of-the-art facilities. Here, you’ll have access to industry-standard equipment, including advanced editing suites and animation labs, not forgetting our professional television and film studios, with one of the largest green screens in the UK.
We also have a professional and fully equipped photography studio with dark room, alongside an extensive Hires and Loans department where you can book out camera equipment to assist you on your creative projects.

Careers in the second city
