A PhD in Art and Design will help you create opportunities to develop research skills that support professional practice, research and/or academic careers within the fields of art, design, architecture and the creative industries. PGR Studio
The PGR Studio facilitates a mass of activity and information about postgraduate research student (PGR) provision in the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media (ADM), Birmingham City University.

Centre for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Arts
The Centre for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Arts (CEDIA) is a cross-disciplinary, industry engaged research cluster based in the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media. CEDIA is concerned with researching and addressing issues related to inequalities and diversity in the arts and creative industries, particularly questions around the intersectional experiences of cultural work, socially engaged arts and cultural practice and tackling inequalities.
