After you apply

When we receive your application, we give careful consideration to all the information you've provided, including your personal statement and referee's report, and may invite you to interview or submit a portfolio. If you receive an offer, you may be invited to an Offer Holder Day to find out more about your chosen course.

Interview tips

Interviews can be scary, but they're a great way to find out more about your course and the University.

Portfolio guidance

Not sure how to build a digital portfolio? Don't worry, our guidance can set you on the right path.

What to include in your portfolio

Once the University has made its decision, this will be shown on your UCAS Hub account. You can check your UCAS Hub account regularly. Remember, universities may send their decision at different times and some may take longer to reply than others – this is quite normal. Once you have received decisions from all of the universities you have applied for, UCAS will set a deadline date for you to reply to your offers. You can check the deadline date in your UCAS Hub account.

There are different types of offer you might receive, depending on your application.

Choosing a firm and insurance choice

Once your offers start coming in, you’ll need to choose a firm and insurance university. The best way to narrow down your top two is to make a pros and cons list for each university. We’ve thought of all the things you need to do to find a winner and select your firm and insurance choice.
