Zeeshan Khattak
Lecturer in Digital Media Technology
Zeeshan Khattak is a lecturer in Digital Media Technology at Birmingham City University. Working as part BIFCA, he is based in Wuhan where he teaches subjects relating to video and audio technology, visual effects and the final year projects.
Zeeshan completed his undergraduate at Birmingham City University in Film Production Technology, going on to receive a masters in Broadcast Engineering. He completed his PGCert shortly after, becoming Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His research interests include object-based audio, procedural audio and plenoptic cameras.
Previously, Zeeshan has experience working as a freelance videographer, as well as broadcast camera operator and rigger, working on numerous live broadcast events including sports and music festivals. He completed the Prince 2 Foundation course on project management, and was awarded both the IET and Digital Media Technology prize for outstanding commitment to studies.
