Discovering Chevalier de Saint-Georges
Christopher Dingle leads this study event on the extraordinary life and music of the black French violinist, composer and conductor Joseph Bologne (1745–99), Chevalier de Saint-Georges. Featuring workshop performances of his Symphonie Concertantes and String Quartet No.2, we invite you to delve into these lively explorations of Parisian style galant.
