Join us for our vibrant Summer Opera double-bill!
Directed by Daisy Brown and conducted by Harry Sever, students from the Vocal & Operatic Studies department perform Purcell's timeless masterpiece, Dido and Aeneas alongside a lesser-known work, Fête Galante by Ethyl Smyth.
This second work was premiered locally at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre in June 1923. Now, just over 100 years later it returns to the city of its birth. Not to be missed!
This performance lasts approximately 2 hours including an interval.
This performance is kindly supported by The Linbury Trust.
