Charlotte graduated from University of Central England in 1999 with a BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography; then she completed a Pg Diploma and MSc in Advanced Practice Nuclear Imaging at Salford University in 2006. She was practising as a Diagnostic Radiographer from 1999-2008 specialising in Radionuclide Imaging. In 2008 Charlotte was appointed as a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography at BCU.

In 2018 Charlotte started as Head of Department for the Operating Department Practice and Paramedic Science department. The role included leading and coordinating the work of the Operating Department Practice and Paramedic Science Department. This involved the day-to-day management of department colleagues and the oversight of recruitment, course development and resources.

She has made strong partnerships with our clinical partners in the wider West Midlands and from the South West peninsula for Operating Department Practitioners and the West Midlands Ambulance Service for Paramedic Science students to improve the quality of the student placement experience.

Charlotte is a personal tutor to Operating department practice students and apprentices offering pastoral support and discuss their progress, both in their academic studies and in their clinical placement.

Charlotte Teaches predominantly on the diagnostic radiography courses covering radionuclide imaging content as my professional background, but also teach sessions relating to academic and professional practice, transition to employment, CPD, Leadership and Management on the operating department practice and paramedic science programmes.
