Nursing and Midwifery

Our Nursing and Midwifery courses blend theory with practice to help you become a confident and competent nurse or midwife of the future. We are committed to providing support and guidance to help you succeed in your chosen career, and make a genuine difference to the community you will work in.

We provide a dynamic and forward-thinking learning environment, supported by more than 100 academic staff who are qualified professionals and experts in their fields.

Our innovative facilities simulate the real situations that health professionals may come across. Our mock wards enable you to get a feel of what a ward is really like before you head out for your first placement. They contain ‘Sim Men’, which are demonstration dummies that exhibit symptoms, allowing you to treat them as you would a real patient and build your confidence in reacting to the changing needs of patients.
