Jennie is a Lecturer on the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Program at Birmingham City University.
Jennie is a Performance Nutrition Practitioner who is passionate about applying sports nutrition knowledge into practice. She has 10 years’ experience of working within professional sport. Jennie has predominantly worked with professional football clubs, previously West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa, and she is currently working with Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club. Jennie has also worked within professional cricket, previously Surrey County Cricket Club and is currently working with Warwickshire County Cricket Club. Her work involves using evidence-based practice to support athletes in maximising their health and performance. This may involve consultations, educational workshops, training and match day nutrition strategies, minimising injury and illness and managing food provision.
Jennie has considerable experience of lecturing within the field of Sports Nutrition and is enthusiastic to bring her ‘applied world’ experiences into the classroom.
