BCUIC Birmingham City University International College (BCUIC)

If you can’t meet our direct academic or English entry requirements, or have been away from education for some time and want to improve your skills, you can begin your degree studies at Birmingham City University International College (BCUIC).

BCUIC gives you access to Birmingham City University’s facilities and services, while helping you work towards achieving a Bachelor’s or Masters degree with us.

The BCUIC offer

BCUIC offers you plenty of opportunities to enjoy your studies and the many social and cultural activities available in Birmingham and the surrounding area.

You’ll work with other students, teachers and BCUIC support staff to develop a wide network of contacts who will all contribute to your learning experience and future success.

BCUIC gives you:

  • A flexible entry system with three intakes every year, so you can start studying at a time that best suits you. You can also finish earlier than students who opt for a traditional UK academic entry system
  • Smaller classes with personalised attention. Classes usually have no more than 35 students and English language classes are restricted to a maximum of 16
  • BCUIC’s dedicated support service team offer advice and help 24-hours a day, seven days a week. The team can organise an airport pick-up, accommodation allocation and referral services. You’ll also receive a full orientation of the college, University and the city of Birmingham.
