The British Journal of American Legal Studies has no minimum or maximum page requirements for submissions. We welcome submissions of various formats, including essays and articles, but do not currently publish book reviews. American orthography is preferred. Citations should conform to the current edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation. Please note that we will not normally accept submissions from students currently pursuing undergraduate or J.D. degrees but will consider submissions from Ph.D./S.J.D. candidates. Submissions should be accompanied by a brief C.V.

Withdrawals

We prefer to receive withdrawal notifications via Scholastica. It is not necessary to send us an email in addition to the Scholastica withdrawal. If you submitted a hard copy by regular mail, please contact the Senior Articles Editor by email at BJALS@bcu.ac.uk. Please include your name and "Withdrawal" in the subject line.
