Dr. Essa Shahra received his bachelor’s degree from Taiz University in Yemen, followed by a Master’s degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia. He later obtained his Ph.D. from Birmingham City University in the UK, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things.
Over the years, Dr. Essa has been a pivotal figure in several funded research projects, serving as a highly effective research coordinator and contributing significantly to cutting-edge advancements in his field.
Dr. Essa has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles published in prestigious international journals and conferences. His research interests are AI, IoT, wireless sensor networks, routing, fog computing, indoor localisation, and computer network and security. With a strong interdisciplinary background, he consistently bridges the gap between academia and industry, driving impactful innovation through his contributions.
