Lorna is a Research Assistant for the Elizabeth Bryan Multiple Births Centre. Alongside Elizabeth Bailey, Lorna has re-launched the West Midlands Multiple Birth Group (WMMBG). The WMMBG is a special interest group made up of clinicians with an interest in multiple births, who come together quarterly to discuss topical issues and current research on multiples.

Lorna has been given a STEAMHouse Fellowship. As part of this, she has been awarded a £1000 grant to lead on her own project that combines elements from science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. She is in the process of investigating the acceptability and approach to the production of an Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality / Web-based intervention to encourage Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) sibling visitation and reduce negative behavioural/emotional outcomes for siblings.
