Want to explore our ultra-modern facilities and learning spaces: The best way to experience the facilities we provide is by visiting us on campus at an Open Day. We are currently undertaking a £400 million investment programme in our facilities, including a major expansion of our City Centre Campus.

What can I do?
Enjoy a tailored and personalised experience: You'll be able to attend subject-specific talks and sample lectures, as well as having the opportunity to chat with lecturers, staff and current students to get your questions answered and see if BCU's the right fit for you. There are also general talks and info for things like finance and accommodation.
Meet lecturers and staff: From handy course overview talks from the staff who would be teaching you, to Q+A sessions on the day covering subject-specific information and then more practical information, getting to meet our friendly staff and asking them your burning questions is a great way to decide on the right course for you.
Explore our facilities and take tours: From our computing labs to mock wards for Nursing students, you can find out everything you need to know about our state-of-the-art facilities at our Open Day to ensure you'll be using the industry standard, preparing you for the world of work before you even graduate. You can also check out the locations and quality of accommodation on bookable tours that happen throughout the day.
Ask our students questions: You can ask them how they picked their courses, and what made them choose BCU (or where to get the best pizza in Brum, the choice is yours!). On campus, you'll find lots of student ambassadors who can give you a great insight into student life at BCU and answer all your questions in person.

If you’re not from the area, then you should definitely check out:
Food and Drink: The food and drink scene in Birmingham is thriving. Our street food festivals are award-winning and our restaurants are Michelin starred – well four are, the most out of any UK city outside of London. The city is packed with well-known top chains and full to the brim with a variety of independent cafés and bars (many offering student and other discounts).
Nightlife: Birmingham has nightlife covered. There’s a reason it’s a must-visit destination for revellers all over the country. If it’s big clubs and bars playing the latest hits, then Broad Street is for you. Prefer the underground? Then Digbeth’s venues are where to visit. For the more bohemian night out, the independent scene of Moseley and Kings Heath is perfect.
Shopping: The famous Bullring is packed with modern, glossy, big-brand shops. It’s always developing, opening new stores and staying on trend. The brand-new multi-million-pound Grand Central has brought a new element to the shopping scene, where shops, food, brands, and independents live hand in hand.
Sport: Whether you're interested in sport as a participant or a spectator, Birmingham has plenty to offer. It’s home to three leading football clubs – Aston Villa, Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion. International cricket takes place at the world-famous Edgbaston Cricket Ground.
