Athletics

It’s a very exciting season ahead for BCU Athletics as we embark on a new future at the newly constructed Alexander Stadium (home of the Commonwealth Games 2023). The world-class facilities at the Alexander Stadium will allow athletes from all disciplines to train all year round, utilising both outdoor tracks, specialised jumping and throwing areas, and maximising training within the indoor centre during the winter.

Throughout the course of the year our club will compete in both the BUCS Indoor and Outdoor events, where we will form a team to represent BCU across the relevant disciplines involved. 

The club offers coached training sessions for athletes looking to keep pushing their careers or albeit reignite performance whilst studying, so it is the place to be for Athletics when you are with us at BCU. 

Alongside our club, we have a partnership with local club Birchfield Harriers who will enable club level athletes to undertake extra training with them where possible.
