What's on in Birmingham this July

There's so much happening across Birmingham and the West Midlands this summer, so we've put together some of the best events to look out for this July.

Godiva Festival

When: 5 July – 7 July

Where: War Memorial Park, Coventry

Celebrating 25 years of Godiva Festival, the pop music festival returns to Coventry. Featuring Richard Ashcroft, Paloma Faith and even special guest appearances of Bluey and Bingo across the three day event.

TILT Festival

When: 10 July – 16 July

Where: Fazeley Street. B5 5RT

TILT Festival offers the best of Circus, Dance & Physical Theatre, starring world renowned artists. A weeklong festival not for the faint hearted.

Birmingham Craft Brew Festival

When: 12 July -13 July

Where: The Custard Factory, Gibb Street

After a successful debut in 2023, Birmingham Craft Brew Festival returns with a wider range of breweries and craft beer, alongside street food, live music and prize giveaways.

Moseley Jazz Festival

When: 12 July – 14 July

Where: Moseley Park

Set within the beautiful Moseley Park, the weekend offers a diverse, vibrant Jazz festival celebrating both innovative UK artists alongside international trailblazers, featuring Sunday headliners Kool & the Gang.

Solihull Summer Fest

When: 20 July – 21 July

Where: Tudor Grange Park

A weekend music festival set in Tudor Grange Park, billed as ‘the Ultimate Feel Good Festival’ – The Solihull Summer Fest is returning for its 8th year with headliners including Ronan Keating, Scouting for Girls and The Jacksons.

JQ Festival

When: 20 July

Where: Jewellery Quarter

The JQ Festival 2024 is a free summer festival – celebrating everything the Jewellery Quarter has to offer. From independent makers to live music and dance, you’ll experience all the energy and heritage that Birmingham’s famous Jewellery Quarter has to offer.

Simmer Down Festival

When: 28 July

Where: Handsworth Park, B20 2BY

Simmer Down Arts, the UK’s premier reggae development agency, present the award-winning annual festival – one of the UK’s biggest reggae music festivals.
