Walking and running
Why not walk or run to campus to save some money and complete your daily exercise at the same time? Exercise releases feel-good hormones, and studies have shown walking and running can boost your mood, increase your energy, reduce stress levels and improve sleep quality. Walking burns approximately 100 calories in only 20 minutes!
There are lots of great views to be experienced when walking or running too, including parks, gardens and canals for you to take in. Ask a friend to join you if they take a similar route or listen to your favourite artist/podcast on the way!
