Hurvin Anderson

British Painter

Hurvin was born in Birmingham. His paintings explore spaces occupied by Caribbean immigrants, such as public parks, gardens, barbershops and domestic interiors, which function as sites for both social gathering and economic enterprise. Peter initially trained as a designer and goldsmith at Birmingham School of Jewellery. After working as a lecturer and tutor, he developed a European funding and project management consultancy. Anderson was nominated for the Turner Prize in 2017.

Dame Denise Lewis

Broadcaster and former athlete

Denise is an accomplished presenter, broadcaster, former athlete and President of Commonwealth Games England. The former Gold Medal winning heptathlete, who holds the second highest number of points scored by a British Heptathlete, has gone on to secure a successful broadcast career. In addition to her broadcast commitments, Denise has taken on the role of ambassador and patron for several initiatives, events and charities.
