Local growth and regeneration
BCU supports local growth and regeneration (LGR) through specialist knowledge exchange activities to facilitate growth, innovation and productivity. All activity is underpinned by a strategic commitment to work closely with our city and region through effective partnership to achieve strategic goals.
As a university with a strong place-based mission, we have long-established and ingrained partnerships with political, commercial and civic stakeholders to understand socio-economic needs, and to promote a position of thought leadership. Our approach is varied, comprising major funded programmes; capital investment; and specialist knowledge exchange.
