Barry has held roles within the Princes Trust, Common Purpose, and One Million Mentors. He has been recognised in ‘42 under 42’ – a list of the leading businesspeople and entrepreneurs under the age of 42 in the Midlands – and the Manufacturer Top 100.
“At BCU, our tutors had a real passion for design. It’s easy to become removed from the 'real world' as a student but they ensured how we were taught, and the projects we worked on, linked to real life.
“I’ve been at Cameron Price ever since I graduated. I’m passionate about manufacturing and promoting the West Midlands and all that it has to offer. We’ve grown the business with innovative design and development ideas: I implemented a culture of continuous improvement with Key Performance Indicators, modern manufacturing methods, and a ‘right first time’ policy.
“Being recognised by BCU as an Alumni of the Year is a real honour. In the 25 years since leaving BCU, my career has included many personal and professional achievements. To be recognised by the institution that laid those foundations is a highlight and tribute to the quality of teaching and support provided by the University.”
